Video Not Performing Well..?

Hi.

I'm running:
AMD Athlon 64 3200+
1GB Corsair RAM (2 DIMM)
DFI Lanparty UT 250GB M/B
BFG GeForce 6800GT OC

Here is my problem:
I've had this set up for a few months and it has worked okay...
I reformatted the other day to try and change things up a bit.
After reformatting I immediately went to the dfi site and downloaded motherboard / chipset drivers. I installed the newest ones, installed my video drivers, and a few other programs (riva tuner etc).

My computer at this point should run at the top of its game- wrong.
I'm getting about 2500 on 3DMark05, I've tried using default settings on my video card and OC'ing it to 400/1060 (which was "optimal").

I am absolutely stumped, I have NO idea what to do. Any comments would be appreciated soo much.

ps: my computer runs cool enough, video card idles 60's Celcius.
 
Anyone?

EDIT: My video card is idling 70C. This is too hot isn't it? Could that be a factor in the low score / bad performance?

That migtht be the problem..I have the same board as you and the 6.37 beta's from DON"T install the GART driver !!!..I found this out after my AquaMark score was 32K for a 6800 Ultra !!!...Try to install all the drivers that came with the disk, then run some test...bet you'll be surprised 🙂
 
Maybe I'll try the 5.10 driver from the site. I have the CD also but it seems ANY upgrade could help some.
What exactly is a GART driver??
