video memory

when memory on video cards is rated at 2.8ns or whatever, but clocked at the same speed as 2.5ns memory, will there be a performance difference?

well, its what its rated up to. 1000/2.8 = 357 mhz 1000/2.5 = 400 mhz. so the 2.8ns is rated to 350 mhz (its actually 2.86ns) and the 2.5 is rated to 400 mhz but if the 2.8ns OCs to 400 mhz, then there is no difference in performance
