Video Memory Question

I have a Gainward 4200 128mg Card. When I go in to Display properties Adavanced Settings the Adapter Information
only shows 64 megs of video memory. Whats the problem.

Either there is really only 64 MB on there or the card is defective.

Or there's an overclock somewhere in your system. Try clocking everything down to stock speeds and then trying again.

If that still doesn't work look at when your system first POSTs to see how much VRAM it's reporting.

Everything is clocked at defalt levels and the systems shows 128 megs v memory at post.
The vid card properties were showing 128 megs untill this afternoon when I installed the
40.72 drivers.

I was going to ask about the video card properties before the POST, have you tried different drivers? Probably just drivers reporting it wrong.
