I don't like shopifters.

But for, how many , 4? burly assclowns can't handle the situation without, and nobody mentions this, throw her into a brick wall while handcuffed. I think it went a little too far.

I hope she sues the hell out of everone involved.

Where is the beating? They're just trying to detain the bitch who repeatedly attempt to resist and run away.
 
If you listen closely to the recording you can hear the security guards saying "It's a real live female! Let me touch her first!". then proceeded to fight over her. It just appeared that they were struggling with her, when all along they just wanted to touch a girl for the first time in their lives.

I've been to that mall a few times. They probably didn't even need the warning call because a lone 14yo likely isn't a legit shopper at a place like that (where would she get the money?).

I just love how the news people said that they used too much force "especially right here" and they showed a part where she violently snapped at them. To an idiot, it looks like they violently pushed her against the wall, but look again: She was resisting being put there gently and SHE made the sudden move toward THEM.

I laughed at all this "I'm not resisting. LET ME GO!" BS. Let you go... why? So that you can wait around instead of leaving? Which intent had she demonstrated?

Heard the comments from the OP and the guy who made the video. You are both delusional.

They used the bare minimum amount of force required to detain that girl. Period. Fuck you for misrepresenting it.

I hate cops who are corrupt and/or abuse their power.

Like the ones in this video.

Everyone who thinks that the guards did nothing wrong here -- perhaps you should move to a third-world country, some place where they don't even bother with laws and proper procedure.

But it's much easier to shoot the messenger.

You just called them "cops" again. And what, EXACTLY, did they do wrong in your opinion? Not let her go? Gufaw!

Watch it again. She snapped on them when they were moving toward the wall. They were delicately moving toward the wall until she lunged again and required an accelerated movement to avoid being hit or releasing her. The wall was a direct reaction to her sudden attempt to swing or get away. I guess the only option in your mind is to let her get away and/or hurt someone.

YOU don't seem to know proper laws. This was a citizen's arrest done right. She proved a threat to people and property and they demonstrated restraint every step of the way. One even stated that in no uncertain terms so that she would understand, know that her struggling was only making it worse by endangering the officers, and comply.

Most security guards aren't even allowed by their employer to touch you to prevent "unlawful arrest" liability for their client, but many in retail are, especially at high-value places like this jewelery store.

What part was "far overboard?" The "push" against the wall? Once again: That was HER making a sudden attempt to swing/break-free.
