have a K8N Neo4-f pcb 1.0 mobo, Leadtek PX6600GT TDH video card, Winchester 3500+, 1 gig Ultra PC3200 RAM in dual channel.

Having sportatic yellow lines show up on the screen. Once they are there.....i have to shutdown and restart. Doesn't seem to happen much. Don't have quite all the latest drivers.......however have been doing them slowly and everything has been fine until i left my pc run all day and when i got home.......i had the yellow lines all over. Bought the mobo, vid card, and proc used from Anandtech forum. Vid card was supposedly an RMA. Not sure what the deal is. Any ideas? Thanks!

edit: Note: no overclocking being done at all.

not real sure. I"ve had several bad video cards in the past, but they ussually throw up garbled ASCII characters when the cores die. I've never seen lines in anything besides LCD monitors when they are on the outs. could possible be a video card overheating problem? I'd check the airflow in your case, and make sure that the fan on the card is spinning properly, and leave an open PCI slot or two for the video card to breathe if you're not already doing that.

Thanks for the reply.
I've never had a bad vid card. It seems to want to try and refresh too.....and still same crap. Good idea about the LCD.....i'll swap it with a CRT to check. I can't see the vid card overheating.....whenever I check the fan is spinning on it. The side of my case is currently off as well........and I have an Antec 120mm and Evercool 80mm intake in the case. There is also nothing below the vid card in th pci slots. I will try and attach a pic of what things look like tonight.
Any other ideas?
