1st off I should list what I'm using
-Samsung syncmaster 930b LCD (19 inch) primary monitor
-NEC accusync 700 CRT (17 inch) secondary monitor
-saphire ATI radeon 9600XT video card
so far I installed the fglrx driver for my ATI card and the LCD worked just fine and could play the screen savers just fine (but the CRT didn't get a signal at all
so then I went in to enabe the other monitor and now the resolution seems to take up more room than the physical screen can allow, so when you move the cursor arrow up, down, left, or right it moves the screen as well, If i turn the resolution down it has to do it even more
another note: in kubuntu itself I can choose which driver I want for which screen, there is an NEC accusync 700 driver, but nothing for the LCD, the 2 closest ones are the syncmaster 920t or the 950 in(T) and if i hit detect it goes straight to the NEC driver
more random info: at first the display settings window listed a graphics card (atI fglrx) and 2 monitors
since I have gotten both monitors to display a desktop in the display settings I now have another graphics card listed by the name VESA driver (generic) and one monitor (unused)
and the screen savers are very jerky now like its not using the right driver again
I have no idea where to start, any help would be great
thank you
