any game i have installed except dirt 2 have had an issue with video.
the processor doesnt seem to be working too hard.

the bad thing is my "video card".

intel hd graphics 4400

even the games listed by intel as being compatible have the same issue. drivers are up to date

there must be a workaround of some sort. looked everywhere and ive never found an answer.

help?

Intel lists so many games as compatible on their website but in reality 90% of them will refuse to run. This issue arises because your GPU is way under powered for these games except Dirt 2, no offence, your best bet is to buy a good GPU from Nvidia or AMD.

fair enough. any experience with external GPUs? this is a laptop and i think upgrading it wouldnt be worth it or maybe not even possible.

thanks for the quick response, btw

That image looks an awful lot like a bunch of the vertices (the points that define polygons) are about a mile below his head, extending/smearing the geometry downwards.

I guess that because I've seen this in my decades of overclocking, typically when you overclock and get lots of heat the GPU starts to calculate values incorrectly such as the location of a vertex and it ends up with silly values which throw it far off in one direction, stretching that polygon on the model really far.

Anyway long story short that makes me think hardware is faulty possibly due to overheating, are you able to install afterburner to check your temps? Is the laptop inside warranty?
