Video. Guy falls asleep while driving. Warning video might be disturbing.
Hey that was me a few years ago, every day; on the way to work or school, and on the way back, minus the accident. Well, I did have two accidents in about five years, no serious injuries. Probably ran a few people off the road, though. :Q
"The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) conservatively estimates that 100,000 police-reported crashes are the direct result of driver fatigue each year. This results in an estimated 1,550 deaths, 71,000 injuries and $12.5 billion in monetary losses."

"According to NSF's 2002 Sleep in America survey, about one-half of America's adult drivers -
51 percent or approximately 100 million people - are on the roads feeling sleepy while they are driving. Nearly two in 10 drivers -
17 percent or approximately 14 million people - say they have actually fallen asleep at the wheel in the past year."
