Video Games & Music

Winamp + Classic Skin = 4-6megs of mem usage

I have Winamp start with Windows and it's playing music 99% of the time while I'm gaming. Unless I'm talking on Ventrilo or something, then I turn it low or off completely...

Yeah, winamp is great while playing games, doesnt eat up much memory and in some games can be integrated into tthem (CS 1.6) where you can control it ingame. iTunes is way too power hungry to do the same.

Depends on the game I'm playing. I don't tend to like to listen to music while playing an FPS, but anything else I will.

Yeah, I expect to see more games with integration of custom playlists. If I have to do it myself I usually don't bother.

I always tune into 106.9 FREE FM KIFR SAN FRANCISCO and put up the volume on the radio and turn off the sound in the game

Even if its CS :Q

sometimes, I want to kill myself for turning off ingame sound and playing music, but I do it anyways.
