Half-life was only $15 on here for the Pc as well as a few other good deals. Might not be a bad place to shop! Great first post Crackdady....

Does anyone have experience with this vendor?

Switchouse is a user-to-user broker like Half.com. They don't actually sell the videogames, only allow people looking to sell them a place to do so, which means that in the end, you'll have to deal with a possibly irresponsible human being.

Switchouse has had severe problems with user fraud in the past (I got shorted twice), and did nothing to help the defrauded users. If you do decide to do a transaction there, make sure you pick a seller with a good rating.

Personally, I'd just go to the B&M and pay the extra cash. The extra hassle isn't worth it unless your dealing with hard to find games.

Not to mention of course that NFL2K sucks the big one. It comes with the sports dreamcast for a reason.....

Super Mario games came with most of the Nintendo systems, I didn't think any of those games sucked. I don't think a game coming with a system is a smart move, namely because if you buy the system, that game is all you have to judge by. You'd think the system manufacturers would pick a game that did was fun and showed off the system. I think NFL2K does just that with the Dreamcast, it's a nice looking game and pretty fun to play as far as football games go. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though!

Yeah, I got a pretty good deal on Baldur's Gate at Switchouse. It cost me $10.00 (covering all costs), which was pretty good compared to the retail prices around ($14.99 and up).

If you guys want a nice place to buy new games at decent prices you should check out Compuexpert. Shipping is very reasonable and if you order several games the shipping cost doesn't add significant cost. They had the best price on Baldurs Gate 2 ($40 shipped) even when adding on shipping when I was looking for it a couple weeks ago. They even tossed in a free bargain bin game they wanted to get rid of hehe. They have excellent reviews at resellerratings.com too.
