The video game industry is facing a hardening of the creative arteries as aging gamers' tastes increasingly shift toward sequels and games based on movies, industry participants said this week.

LOL..I don't think I've ever bought a game based on a movie.

Thats a crock of sh!t gamers do NOT want more sequels are more sh!tty movie based games. Errr those "industry participants" should be fired for such lies.

i cant remember the last original game i played, other than the first time i played each genre many, many years ago. i guess it would have to be seaman for the dc, or maybe tail of the sun for psone. im sure even those have some other games they ripped ideas from tho.
