Video Game deals at Amazon.com (Updated 12/30 - yet another Tekken 6 price drop...)

Tekken 6 has had yet another price cut at Amazon.com. The standard edition is $34.98 for the Xbox 360 and PS3. The Limited Edition is $70.98 for the Xbox 360 and $78.02 for the PS3. I was planning on trading in AC2 for Tekken 6 when I'm done with it but if the price of T6 slips any more I'm just going to go ahead and buy it.

Also, Way of the Samurai 3 for the Xbox 360 is $25.70. I've no clue if the game is any good, but it is half price...

MW2 is back to it's normal price ($53.**), AC2 and Dragon Age: Origins are still on sale.

Also, I got an email from Amazon saying that all Xbox 360 accessories are 10% off today, I think it may be true for all Wii and PS3 accessories as well though.

A few smaller sales. Dragon Age: Origins is back to $44.99 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 and $39.99 for the PC.

The Tekken 6 Limited Edition Bundle for the Xbox 360 has had it's price cut yet again to $74.14, they've got to be fighting to get rid of these things, that's less than half it's original price from less than two months ago. It's $5 more for the PS3 version.

The Standard Edition of Tekken 6 is still $39.98. For anyone who is holding back from the horrible multiplayer reviews, Namco has put out a patch to fix all the latency issues and everyone I know who has the game says it's night and day difference. I'll probably pick it up when I'm done with AC2.

L4D2 is back up to $49.99.

Also, despite it's lackluster sales Amazon decided to raise the price of Tekken 6 from $49.99 to $57.99 and $59.00 for the Xbox 360 and PS3 respectively. The price of the "Limited Editon" remains the same ($78) so my only thought is they're probably trying to get rid of their LE's.

Assassin's Creed 2 is $39.78 for the PS3 and Xbox 360 version. I so don't need to buy this, I bought Batman yesterday but at this price you could buy it, play it, and sell it on ebay for a profit (it's going for $50+).

Dragon Age: Origins $44.99 for the PS3 and 360 and $34.99 for the PC.

Brutal Legend and Rock Band 2 are still on their sale price, it looks like the rest have returned to their normal price.

Crap, crap, crap, bought Brutal Legend last night, now want ACII, but would like to get it for both 360 and PS3. Wife is going to MURDER me.

+1, I'm scared of spousal abuse from my wife as well but I've got the numbers figured out. I just placed my order, here's how I rationalize it to the wife:

-I bought Forza Motorsport 3 on release day for $54.99 w/$10 gift card (VG's only). Traded in CoD : W@W for $25+ so it cost me around $35 w/release day delivery.

Grand total spent: $35, VG credit left: $10.

-I bought Modern Warfare 2 on release day for $59.99 w/$20 gift card (VG's only) and used a $40 gift card + 10% off coupon, cost me $19 w/release day delivery. I actually ordered it before my FM3 order shipped so I didn't have teh $10 credit in my account yet. Oh wells.

Grand total spent: $54, VG credit left: $30.

-I discovered a glitch in FM3 and told the dev's about it, to say thanks they sent me the FM3 LCE and I sold it on ebay for $58 (after using the code from it I wanted).

Grand total spent: $-4, VG credit left: $30.

-I bought Batman: Arkham Asylum yesterday with the $30 Amazon credit (which I had to use before the year ends) and free shipping. $4.98 to my door.

Grand total spent: $0.98, no more VG credit.

-And I just bought AC2 for $40...

So in the end I've bought 4 new games and it's cost me a whopping $41 out of pocket. I'll play Batman and Assassin's Creed and probably ebay or trade them off. SURELY the wife can't complain (but she'll find a way I'm sure )!!

Amazon doesn't charge until your order ships but you should be able to update your billing info for that order in the meantime.
