Sure it's cool to have but couldn't you wait a bit? It's not like they are only going to sell them for a couple days.

i waited 2 years to get an xbox, i will wait 1-2 years to get the x360, or longer, i don't have any hdtv thing to play it on

Though I have no intention of buying one, I can understand why people wait in line on release day. Look at all the people who pre-order graphics cards or wait in line a day for concert tickets or a book. Whatever gets you your kicks. Not to mention, look how many people have made major coin selling their place in those lines or who plan on selling their 360 for profit.
