Hi All,
I would like to try and archive my divx/xvid movies to a dvd disk
I haven't been able to find a conversion program that will let me do this ( how about mp3 also).
I must be missing something somewhere
I would appreciate all help

What do you mean by "archive". For archiving your video, mp3, documents, images to DVD, simply greate a Data disk and copy the files over and burn it, its basic to every DVD burning software I've used.

It is a bit complicated, but should guide you through the steps to convert from AVI (Divx) to DVD MPEG2 format.

My video card came with some free software that can convert Divx to MPEG2 format. its called Intervideo DVD creator, or something like that. It doesn't work as well as the method linked to above. Also, look up TMPG encoder.
