So here is the deal?

I have about 140 videos that are 4 to 8 minuets in length. They have all been encoded using Moonlight Odio Dekoda for the audio and Elecard MPEG2 Video Decoder for the video (don?t ask?I didn?t do it). Anyway, I have to edit 20 to 60 seconds out of each video and need the final format to be QuickTime.

In testing I have edited one in Premier 1.5 and then saved to and AVI. From there I converted it using a program that I found called ?TRMOOV?. This process took a long time and I ended up with a 4.5 minute video that was 1GB. I also tried to convert directly from Premier to QuickTime but the time to do that was over 8 hours.

I could really use some input on how to streamline this process. One final option is that I could recapture the video (all of the original video is on VHS tapes) in QuickTime format, edit and then resave them.

Any suggestions or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

What speed CPU do you have? It shouldn't be that difficult, just use the razor tool to cut the segments that you need then open the clip and use the export tool to export as quicktime. For a 60 second clip, shouldn't take more than 30 minutes depending on your proc...
