Video Easy in Australia breakes Halo 3 release date

Today i went into video easy to get a movie and i pass by the game section and i was looking at all the new games that came out for the PS3/360. Then i moved along to the New Video release section when it hits me that i read halo 3 so i rush back to Video Easy's game section where to my surprise i see halo 3 without a tag like "coming soon". So i rented it and now i am going to play it and finish it by Sunday : )

lol :! guess what :!

Today at around 9.30am i get call from video easy begging me to return the game and they were willing to send a courier to pickup the game. lol... Microsoft read the post and called up Video Easy asking WTF is going on. lol found out Microsoft did a recall of Halo 3 game from my local video easy.
 
Interesting. However, Halo 3 was released on the internet for those of us who have our xbox 360s modded. I've had it for a day or two now.

Thats hillarious!! Way to go man! I will be playing as well this weekend...little suprises like leaking the game early is great..but the online community is low...well until tuesday...

I have no qualms with doing it to companies I hate. I've never paid for an EA game, and I never will, but I love the Burnout games, so I download them. I may have gotten Halo 2 a month early, but I still bought the collector's edition.

Yes. Yes it is. EA doesn't actually make the Burnout games. Criterion does. But EA publishes them, therefore yes, I pirate them. Garbage companies like EA, who simply buy out their competition deserve to be pirated. If the company is worth supporting then I buy the game. Take Oblivion for example. That game had zero copy protection. It didn't even have a cd key. It's been the easiest game to pirate recently that I can think of. Bought it (collector's edition) on launch day.

People who say that there is never any reason to pirate anything ever need to grow up.
