hey guys,

wondering if any of you knew some decent video DJ software?

most important feature which is the make or break (i have no idea if this is even possilbe, but if it does, this is what i want):

- while playing standard MP3s, it can play some predefined XVID / DIVX playlist.
- When coming across a video file in the playlist, pause the XVID/DIVX movie, play the music video, then when the next track plays (assuming its an MP3) to switch back to the XVID/DIVX and resume playback.

any ideas?

basically want to play a movie running in the background during the MP3 playback, but when it comes across a music video to actually play it.

help would be appreciated, or alternative solutions 🙂
 
you might be able to use Sony Vegas Studio in editing mode to
do what you're asking.

you can use a "black"/null video if it needs a place-holder
video to accompany an audio track.
