Video cutting program help!

Until recently I used AVS Media to take video files and cut them from a certain point in the video to another and make a new file of it. However, My AVS doesn't work with vista. Does anybody know of good video cutting programs I could use that work with windoes vista? (maybe vista even comes with one?) Thanks!
 
I think that Vista has Windows Movie Maker... you may want to see if that will do it.
