my grandma has a sony dvd player that plays vcds, is there good program that will convert divx avi movies so i can put them in vcd format on a dvdr disc?
 
tmpgenc express is slightly more money but they are good at making it fast..esp on duo/quad core
avi2dvd is free
theres really no reason to burn vcd when you can burn dvd. vcd is pretty horrible quality...and cds aren't really much cheaper if cheaper at all these days.
 
Super usually works for me but sometimes it gives mysterious "An error has occurred" messages that aren't useful.
