Video connection help

Recently when I boot up I get an error "check video connection". Thinking it was a failing graphics card, I replaced. Still had problem. Tried an old card in a different slot on the mobo and still got error. Also tried several diff. monitors thinking possibly a bad cable; still have problem. Is it possible (likely?) that something's going on the mobo itself related to the video signal? Should I replace the board?

Thanks.

hmm, does this mean you have a PCI video card?

could use a bit more info in order to figure out what the problem is. sounds like a mobo issue but if you're having the prob on other PCI slots then it's very unlikely all the PCI slots are damaged. 😕
