my brother has a digital camera and he uploads his footage into comp and edits it and stuff but the problem is that the outcome is absurdly large... in the last case it was 4gb (yes, GB) for a 30 minute movie... if pr0n and other stuff comes at what 5mb for 1 min then something is wrong with the compression, or the lack thereof, in my brother's .avi file...
does anybody know a good program to compress *.avi files? reducing the screen size etc is also acceptable but there has to be a way to convert it to mpeg4 for starters...
any help is very greatly appreciated!
