Video comparison/opinions?

I'm looking at a Gainward Pro 450TV Geforce 4 MX420 and a MSI MS-8838 Geforce3 Ti200.

I was hoping someone could break them down and give an opinion as to which would be better. I don't really game, but I'd like to have a nice card w/ some 3D ability.

if u dont care about gaming u can also get an ati all-in-wonder radeon or an aiw 7500. about the same price as a gf3 with pvr capabilities. the 7500 beats the mx420 considerably. If u want dx 8.1 get a radeon 9000 if dont need the dx8.1 get a aiw card. avoid the mx420 al all costs

I also like to run visualizations under winamp, if that makes a difference.

Could you explain the major differneces between all these cards? What should I be looking for?

It doesn't really matter which of these cards you get, if it is simply to improve the speed of you winamp visualizations. If you need 3D gaming power, go with the Radeon 8500LE. That will run you about $80, but it will definitely be worth it.

Yeah Radeon 8500 is good....I picked up a new 128MB retail for $140 shipped in FS/T here.
