24th notes on a guitar... not bad.

wtf there are no such thing as 24th notes.....:Q

unless you're talking about dotted notes.....

What about a triplet played twice as fast? Like a triplet played in 1/8 of a beat?

I see you're not a drummer 😉
24th notes = 6 notes in the space of 4 sixteenths, or 3 notes in the space of 2 sixteenths, etc.

Those are aptly named "8th note triplets." 😉

So if you could do that, you're saying you wouldn't bother to play?

Nonsense. 😛 Besides, we have no idea the context of the video. He could've just been jamming for all we know.

That video is from the end of a promotional video from Larrivee's website. Why couldn't they have chopped it from the high-res version... 🙁

Yep. It gets even more confusing when you're looking at some standard 4/4 music and all of a sudden you see 16ths with a 5 over them... only drummers are used to playing odd note intervals I guess... but I can't even remember the last time I've seen a quintuplet or 16ths with a 7 over them (forgot what those would be called) (except in some chop-busting cadences).
