I'm upgrading my system in the next couple of weeks to a 800MHz Coppermine, 512mb PC133 RAM, 45gb IBM hard drive, and a Soundblaster Live Platinum. I currently have a Matrox G400 Max as my vid card. Just curious if I should keep the G400 Max and wait for the G800 or upgrade to one of the Geforce 2 cards. If I upgrade to one of the GTS cards, it will have to hold me over for about 1.5-2 years (same with the G800 if I go that route). Will the card (Geforce 2) be good for that long? I have a strange feeling that the G800 will, so I'm kinda leaning that way. If anyone has any compelling reason why I should go with a GTS card, please let me know.

If you want it to last the long get the GTS 2 64MB. This will help out a lot for games soon to come.
