video card upgrade

currently have the evga 5900se ive been looking at the agp 6600gt. my question is leadtek , xfx, bfg all make this card and evga is coming out with an agp this month. i am a gamer currently addicted to joint ops. this is also my first try at building my own computer. the gods were smiling down on me because so far its been a great year of trouble free gaming.

does anybody have this card from any of the mfg's i have mentioned?, and if so how was /is your experience with them. thanks ahead for any replies / comments.! also like far cry, doom3, halo etc.

I see no reason to upgrade this early, instead wait a bit and then 2 months later make a switch to a 6800GT/Ultra.
Just my opinion..

thanks for your reply, i should also mention that as a father of two teenage girls of driving age my cash flow for my toys is limited. while i would love to be able to drop 400-500 dollars on a new card the 200 dollar range is for me at this time and i dont have to upgrade but i would like to just to keep near the top egde of things if you know what i mean.
