Very few Xbox 360 games run natively at 1080p. Mostly they render at 720p (or lower, sometimes 640p or 600p, depending on the game) and then scale up or down depending on the resolution of your screen. There are only three or four XBLA games that actually have a native 1080p resolution.

GTA IV on the 360 is rendered at 720p.

That's probably going to be the OP's best bet. Only other thing I can think of is the Q8200 for $99 deal, if that's still going on. Fmaste, what's your budget if you are going to build a new rig?
