I currently have 1 Dell 2405 connected to a Radeon x850 series via DVI connection. The other connector available is a standard vga connection.

My question is, will this one video card be able to support 2 24" monitors at max resolution for desktop multitasking?

If not, is there a video card that is reasonably priced that will allow me run both monitors at max resolution on one pci-e slot?

SLI isn't an option. When i built this computer, I thought 1 24" monitor would be enough and didn't get an SLI motherboard (stupid I know).

ps: Specs for my video card say that max resolution is 2048x1536@85Hz (is this per monitor????).

pps: Here is the link to the one I have.

eh. you should be fine with it. Don't plan on it doing everything great and lag free though. I'd turn down XP things, like when you drag a window and that.
