Video card seems to stop outputting a signal when I switch inputs on the display.

Hi guys.

I recently bought and installed this video card (including the drivers and utilities that it came with in the box):

http://www.newegg.com/Product/...pk=asus%2b3450%2b256mb

I am using the card's DVI port (with a DVI to HDMI cable connected to my Samsung 5087 DLP TV) for the only display. Everything was pretty much working fine until I switched inputs over to my cable box to watch some TV. When I switched back to the computer's input, the screen was blank with only the message from the TV saying that there was no signal. Rebooting the PC brings back the signal, until I switch inputs on the TV again.

I did notice once, however, that when I switched inputs and came back, the signal did return after 9 or 10 seconds. But I could never reproduce this.

I didn't have this problem when I was using the VGA port on my original Intel Integrated video card. Any ideas? Will I have to switch back to a VGA cable? This is incredibly frustrating.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Nevermind. Updating the drivers and changing a couple settings that I didn't at first understand seems to have fixed it.
