building a shuttle system Link

looking for the best video card I can put in this system for less than about $50 used..which should I get..

requirements:

must be single slot (not much room inside)
must not need pci-e power connector (assuming this does not have it)..and it has weak PSU

thoughts:
7600GT? ATI low end card..like 3850 maybe?

I ran an X1950 Pro in my Shuttle (Core2Duo @2.4GHz I think it was) a couple of years ago with the standard weedy PSU (probably 250W), and it was fine for close to a year, before I upgraded.

I tried upgrading to the meatier power supply (300W I think, but I can't quite remember) and an 8800GT when it first came out, but the PSU died after a couple of months 🙁

If you can find a 4670 for the money then it'll perform great. I have one in my main PC and it's awesome. Be careful of the cooler size though. My Asus 4670 probably wouldn't fit in a Shuttle, despite being single card, depending on the motherboard. My old Shuttle had the PCI-E slot on the outer edge of the motherboard, so anything that sticks out very far may be an awkward fit.
