video card recommendation for HP Pavilion a1540n Desktop

The desktop runs an Athlon 64x2 4200 w/2GB ram. It is limited by a 300W PSU. My main goal is to use it for video encoding/decoding/editing...doubtful if I'll play any games. I will most likely upgrade to Vista, once my free upgrade is sent.

I've looked at the ATI Radeon x1300 (and up) and Nvidia 7600+ cards and they seem to require at least a 420W PSU. Seeing as I'm not really concerned with games, is there another low cost card, that will work with my setup and has 128bit memory bus w/256MB and maybe provides at least 4 pixel pipelines? I wasn't planning to upgrade my PSU at this time...is that the only way to go?

What can you recommend? AMD/ATI recommends something better than a Radeon x800....

yeah, assuming thats a newer spec powre supply it should be able to run all 7600 seris and even 7900 lower end cards.

you really dont need a 7900 though if you arent playing games. a 7600gs, or 7300 series would probalby be plenty.
