The 4200 is an "MX" card, really low end crippleware... I'd go for the Ti500.

Actually I'd go for a Radeon 8500... But that wasn't one of the options.

I think the 4200 is slightly faster, and is going to cost less. It is almost like a replacement I think.

That is why they didn't release it earlier, because it would of made buying the ti500 a very bad choice.

The 420 is an mx the 4200 is a regular g4.

There was a recent review of the upcoming GeForce 4TI 4200 series at Tom's Hardware:

The GeForce 4TI 4200's outperformed the GeForce 3TI 500 across the board.

Considering the estimated street prices of the GeForce 4TI 4200 series will be $150 - $179 USD, quite a bargain.
