Yes I've used the search function, but the answers aren't really customized to me! 🙂 Out of a Radeon 32 MB DDR, Geforce 2 MX, & Voodoo 5 5500, which card will, be the fastest in 800x600 or 1024 x 768 16bit, offer best 2d quality ( is radeon really that much better than voodooo?), and game compatibility. I was leaning towards Voodoo 5 5500, because it will probably perform great in Tribes 2 , (Tribes 1 is glide. )
 
All the cards will do you good. I noted that you mentioned 16-bit though. Out of the boards, the V5 does have the best 16-bit image quality because of the post filter and also the alpha adjust (in advanced tools).

As for it costing 2x, it won't. It now is retailing for $199.
