Video card question

Hello,

I have an ATI X850 XT and have run the automated clock utility from ATI, and the clocks have been set to 540/620, does running the card at this speed will shorten its life? I haven't experienced any lockups, crashes, etc.

Any help appreciated.

If you're like most people here, you won't have the card long enough for there to be any problems.

as long as u dont up the voltages slight increase in temps will not have a drastic effect on the average lifetime of the card. if ya have the dough then grab a aftermarket HSF, if not dont worry about it. no arts means ur doin fine. be happy with a decent OC 🙂

Should be no change whatsoever. Voltages may change the life of the card, but as long as the temps aren't actually damaging things you should be fine.
