I put together my first new system on May 1. ABIT KT7A, AMD TB 1.G AXIA, ASUS V7700 AGP. Couldn't get it to power up. Since this was more than this beginner could handle, I took it to the local shop. As it turned out the CPU was fried, the mother board was bad and the video card was bad. I got them all replaced (It took ASUS SIX WEEKS to send me a new card). When all the parts were back together, the technician said that the video card was bad. He put one of his cards in the PC and it worked. He put my card in his PC and it wouldn't work. I send it back to ASUS. In the mean time I buy a ATI Radeon 64MB DDR. I install it and its the same thing. No video. Could I have three bad video cards in a row? Is there something that this guy is missing? I need some help from you guys. Cyberdad
