So I've had the system in my rig for about 2.5 months and had no problems. A few weeks ago I left my PC for a bit and when I came back my monitor had gone into energy save mode and I couldn't get it to wake back up without a reboot.

Last week while I was sitting and typing on my computer all of a sudden a screenfull of thin purple vertical lines filled the screen and my monitor went into energy save mode. Again I was unable to wake my PC back up so had to reboot. For the past few days my screen will at times start to look like this: Screenshot

If i click "show desktop" in winxp then the screen looks fine again. Leadtek tech support thought it could be the video card but said it might be my power supply too. My power supply is an ocz modstream 450W and to me it doesn't seem like it's a power supply problem.

Any ideas based on that screenshot?

Thanks!

yeah it is a video card problem. at first i thought perhaps a monitor issue, but nope...the screenshot confirmed that it's a video card problem. it should still be under warranty, so either get a new one or get yer money back.

Yeah, I am able to RMA it but it'll take 4 weeks so I'm just getting some opinions before I send it off :(.
