video card overclocking

would it be better to run a card at 250core / 500mem

or is there some sort performance hit when you go asynchronously with the memory frequency like 250/520 or 270/500?

no performance hit.

i can't exactly explain why, but it IS different from a motherboard's cpu's fsb and ram frequency

it will run without performance hits for sure.

Darth Farter... you're correct. A more accurate comparison to the GPU/RAM speed is the CPU core speed/system RAM speed... not the FSB and RAM.
