You guys think the girl in green is hot enough to start seeing even though it is a garentee of a long term relationship (ie. not much fun.).

the part in bold really is interesting to think about.

sure being with one girl forever can be boring, just like dedicating yourself to one pursuit is boring. it's always more interesting and exciting to keep trying new things, but if that's all you ever do, you end up with nothing special.

if you choose one thing to dedicate yourself to early and really cultivate it, it can really become something special and mb that's more interesting than going from thing to thing.

tiger woods for eg. his talent with golf has taken him places he would never have been if he hadn't focused on one thing only.

what if tiger had said, hmm, dedication, commitment = boring. and kept trying sport after sport after sport.

would he be a world famous athlete now? no.

so, it's only boring if that's your perspective, that it's better to keep trying new things and never getting really good at one thing.

Or.. the way I see it. Pretty much no relationship lasts when your 18 anyway, so might as well just hook up to have fun. (ie. go to parties, go to bars, etc.) But not have a meaningful relationship.

NOTE: I don't mean having sex with this girl, just fooling around with her.

1. Cute, but not hot.
2. We have nothing in common. (music, sports etc.)

5. Haven't met many of her friends at all, but from what I have seen, they are an odd bunch.

Why not treat her as you would wish to be treated if she weren't "feeling much" for you ?
