My brother brought over his comp today he has a Albatron 7800 GTX 256 MB and tried two monitors both say no signal detected. Computer seems to boot up fine but can't tell without display.

It's in an ASUS A8N-E with a AMD Atholon 64 3700+

I want to make sure this kind of problem is the card before I tell him to get a new one! Or if anyone has any problems like this and knows how to fix thanks.

Albatron has a life-time warranty, anyone know if their customer service is good? I haven't ever bought a card from them either.

Probably a foolish question, but he has connected the auxiliary power connectors to the video card, right?

I'd also want to try the card in a different computer to make sure the problem follows the card before trying to RMA it.

good luck

I reseated the card so the power cable was connected he said it happened during the middle of a game. All the caps and the card looks physically fine except for some dust in the fan. I will see if I can try the card in another computer with a pci-e.
