Video card length...

I want to buy another video card for an older computer that is not too long...the case i am using is small and my current video card is covering the sata ports. What should i buy that gives good performance and the only task for the computer will be surfing the net etc. Nothing demanding.

So no gaming at all? I'd look at a low profile Radeon 5450 or Radeon 6450. They can commonly be found for $10-20 after MIR, and are extremely short and low profile (often fanless) cards.

yes exactly a non gaming computer used for the internet and other small tasks.

Unless there is none, why is the current video card not adequate?

the video card blocks the sata ports, at least a few of them. I was going to get a different video card for this MB and take the current video card for my new computer that is in th e works.

heh, sorry. I read that in the original post but somehow it didn't register in my head.

Right now I am looking at this card....

ASUS Radeon HD 5450 Silent 1GB DDR3 64BIT PCI-E DVI-I HDMI HDCP Passive Low Profile Video Card

how can i determine the exact length? The specifications don't seem to give this info.
