I have been doing research for about a week now. I want to upgrade my old 1050ti card. I have been looking at the Intel B580($250), the Gigabyte 5060 8gb($280, more than I really want to spend, but an option), and the 3060ti 8gb refurb($240). All are at Microcenter.
So much of what i have read are people saying do not go 8gb, but the 580 is pretty much the only non 8gb card I can afford.
The games I play are Rocket League, Fortnite, CS2, Battlefront 2, and some odds and ends games like Farming Simulator occasionally. Most of the games are on 1080p, and I have a 180hz monitor. My CPU is a 5600x, so I know that isn't an ideal CPU for gaming, but all i have right now. The 1050ti plays those games, but poorly, and I think I got it like 7 years ago, so I think it is time.
I did see an EVGA 3070's refurbs on amazon for around $250 if that is better, but I am not sure about power, I have a corsair 650watt psu and I dont know if I have a second 8pin.
What makes the most sense?
