Hey im not the best person with video cards so here we go...

1. What is the diffrence between all the 6800 series cards for geforce (GeForce 6800 Ultra, GeForce 6800 GT, GeForce 6800 GS, GeForce 6800)

2. My current card is a ATI radeon 9800pro 256mb but I am getting a new computer and with the new computer comes a new card :) so I am wondering what card would best suit me ...

-Geforce 6800GS 256MB/256-BIT GDDR3 PCI-E(EVGA)
-Geforce 6800GT 256MB/256-bit GDDR3 PCI-E(XFX)

My main game is 1.6 so I'm guessing I should be getting 100fps even in 3 smokes like I do with my 9800 but I want to know if these cards can be considered 'better' then the 9800?

gig of ram
either getting a 2.8 dual core intel or a 64+ 3200+ amd 2.0ghz

The GS and GT perform nearly the same, and the GS is cheaper. Wonder which one to get? :)

Oh, and both offer a huge improvement over the 9800.

6600GT = 128 bit, 128/256 ram, 500 core, 1000 ram
6800 = 256 bit, 128/256 ram, 325 core, 700 ram
6800GT = 256 bit, 256 ram, 350 core, 1000 ram
6800Ultra = 256 bit, 256/512 ram, 400 core, 1100 ram

As for where they stand, Tom's has a pretty good comparison.

In terms of the 6800gs or 6800gt, whichever is cheapest!

Alright guys ... and I know this is the wrong forum section for this but since I have alreayd posted do you have any thoughts on what proccessor I should get? ... That is either the 2.8 dual core pentium or the 64+ 3200 amd. Also whichever one you choose you would say the upgrade to the 3.0 dual core or 64+ 3500 are worth it?

Last thing :) i heard the dual core isnt as good for gaming.. is that true? I thought it would be better.

Not the dual core Pentium. I've heard way too many stories about them running 70C+ degrees. The A64 is better in gaming by far. The only Pentiums worth mentioning are the 6xx seires(for their Hyper-Threading) if your doing intensive multi-tasking (i.e. video/audio encoding and surfing the net) and for some reason you dont want/can't afford a AMD dual core.
