Video Card Help

I'm looking at the Fujitsu Lifebook N3500 laptop and it looks pretty cool. The video card in the system is a ATI MOBILITY RADEON X300. Anyway, is this card good enough to run games like Doom 3 and Half Life 2?? I mean what can this card do? I know its not the top of the line card when it comes down to it but what is the closest thing I can compare this card to. I mean people claim that Alineware systems that have a Ati 9000 runs Doom 3, so this has to right? Any help would be great here.😕

no, its a piece of garbage. worse than last generation cards (9500, 9600, 9800 pros/xt) Try looking for a notebook with an ati mobility 9700pro. Great card, fast, battery efficient.

So is this card worse then the 9000 and 9200 for laptops?

yeah, you will have to completely lower every setting to play doom3. hl2, not so much. look into something else.

its "newer" than the 9200, but not better. Just a new name, design. Certainly not game-worthy cards. You will DEFINITELY appreciate your investment if you pay s'more, 100% guaranteed. Ask any member here

lets look at the ati line..........there is x200 . 300........skipped 4 and 5 for some reason there is x600 ...x700 then you get into the x800 series cards. ive seen people try the x600 and it sucks so i can only imagine how bad the x200 and x300 is.
