Video Card died, need something that can run with 305 Watts

Not even close.
4770 = 81W
9800GT = 66W
GT240 ~= 40W

I know for a fact the 9800GT uses more power than that, more like 75-90w, and that the 4770 uses less than it



Unless you're talking low-power versions, but those aren't really that common

It's actually hard to find a *non* low-power 9800GT these days. (550mhz = low-power.)

It's also the only 9800GT recommended in this thread, and probably the highest-power card the OP should consider.
 
Went with the EVGA 240 because the manufacturer states it can be used with +12V line at 18amps. Comp runs fine now. Thanks everyone.
