video card crashing

hey all -- i updated the drivers on my radeon x1900xtx last night and two restarts later the computer refused to display anything at boot-up. the video card fan starts up at full speed and doesn't slow down like it should, so i'm guessing it's a problem there.

can anybody help me out? i can't even get into the the bios or anything. any suggestions would be appreciated. thanks!

Any bios alarm beeps for no video detect? Did it work ok after the driver up-date for at least a few re-boots? maybe the card just died

yea, it worked fine for one or maybe two reboots, but no beeping or anything on the mobo, just no display.

Try going into the bios and setting it to defaults, boot up and see what's going on. if eveyrthing is ok start tweaking settings to your liking. It may be a mb voltage problem.
