Video card choice for OC system

After reading all of the success stories, I've decided to build a Northwood 1.6a system. I plan to use the Asus p4b266 mb and hopefully the ATI AIW Radeon 7500 video card. I haven't seen where anyone has used this combination, or used this card in an oc'd system. Is it possible?😱

i don't see why not.... *edit* let me make myself more clear.....hehe. the video card isn't really affected by the cpu or the fact that u o/c. if you plan on o/c the actual video card then that is a different story and YMMV........though i ams ure it is possible.....i don't read up too much on teh ATI cards. but yeah, either way, your setup sounds good you shouldn't have any problems.

I was wondering, does OC'ing change the speed of the AGP bus like it does the PCI bus. If so does that affect the video cards.

Yes it does, cause normally dividers are used to get the AGP/PCI bus from the FSB. Most of the newer video cards made dont really have a problem running on out of spec AGP buses, while some older AGP cards have some issues, like the Voodoo3, at least from my neighbor's experience.

I am running a ATI Radeon 32DDR card at 89Mhz agp bus speed with no problems. It's a PIII on an old BX chipset board at 133 Mhz FSB. Your normal agp bus speed is 66 Mhz. The ATI card should work just fine.
