Video card advice

Right now I am running a Voodoo3 2000 card on an Epox 8KHA+ with 256mb Crucial DDR. I do very little gaming but have been playing Max Payne a little recently as well as Rollercoaster Tycoon. The games play okay but Max Payne does get a little sluggish at some points. Does anyone have any advice on a good low cost video card for my needs? Maybe even with a TV out? Thanks in advance for any help.

Well, I would get the fastest card in your budget.

You can get a Radeon LE or GF2 MX400 for like $70 or so.

If you can spend $150 you can look for deals on a Radeon 8500LE or go with a GF3 Ti200.

Top of the line would be Radeon 8500 retail or GF3 Ti500.

Newegg carries a Geforce2 GTS-V for $71 shipped, last I checked. If you don't already know what that is, it's just an underclocked geforce2 GTS that can be easily overclocked up to the speed of the normal one. No TV out, though.

My Palit Daytona GeForce3 Ti200 cost about the same as a Radeon7500 do where I live, don't know what it cost other places though but I'm sure it's very cheap. The nice thing about the card is that it oc's to around the speed of a Ti500 (230/530 to be exact) with stock cooling easily. I still can't believe it has 5ns ram.

why not hercules 4500 the same price has any radeon le but much much better..
I played max payne at 1024x768x32 with everything on with no problems (athlon xp 1700+ 1466 mhz)
