My brother just bought the Dell FP2005 monitor and he needs to get a new video card because his old one doesn't support DVI.

I know this monitor has an unusual resolution, 1680x1050 I think.

My brother ONLY plays CoD 1 and 2.

Can you recommend a sub $200 video card for this monitor that can handle CoD?

Thanks

Can I recommend a sub $200 video card that can play COD2 maxed out...no

So, is it AGP or PCIe? (cause it matters)

Edit: If it's AGP I'm gonna say either 6800GS or X850

If it's PCIe, maby you can get a good price on a used 7800GT since everyone wants to get rid of theirs to get 7900's.

Sorry, it's AGP.

He doesn't need to play maxed out. Right now he's playing with a Ti4200 so I think anything is going to be a pretty big upgrade.

i think that ti4200 would play CoD 2 just fine with low-medium setting and DX7 mode

My Athlon 2700+ with ATI X800XL AGP was too slow to run even at a somewhat lower resolution in CoD:2 with my FPW2005.
I gave up half way through single player and uninstalled it.
