video capture for $100.00?

I need some rec. on a video capture device for around $100.00. I am going to use it to make SVCD from my VHS-C home movies. I have been messing around with a Dazzle DVC50 and Ulead DVD Movie Factory. I have tried several other ways to make a SVCD(TMPGEnc and Nero etc...) with alot of problems. The output that I am getting is horrible. I don't know if the Dazzle I have sucks or it is DVD movie factory? I was looking at a Pinnacle DC10plus, but it doesn't support Win XP. Any suggestions?

Pinnacle is working VERY hard on their XP drivers. I'd say hold out a bit (they say they'll be ready in a couple of weeks, max) and go for the Pinnacle DC10. At the $100 price point you need a very good reason to go for any other card.

I have been doing a little research and from what I have seen this is gonna do what I need it to. I just ordered one. I will put it in my Win98 box till XP drivers come out. Chu, thanks alot for your input.

Been using Pinnacle Studio DV for about 6 months now with my Digital8 (Sony). I just love how it works with Win2k. I know it's not what you are looking for but Pinnacle makes some great products.
