Video Capture and an 8500... What do You Recommend?

I just upgraded my 32Mb Radeon LE with a retail 64 Mb Radeon 8500. Now I want to archive some older family videos to CD from a Hi8 camcorder tape (analog S-video).

I know what you're thinking but I couldn't bear to spend the money on an 8500AIW or DV just for the VI and I didn't want a 7500 because gaming is important too. So I figure I could get some type of 'video capture device'... PCI, USB or whatever. I haven't got a clue as to where to get any info on what would be faster, better, easier or anything. The only thing I've heard of is called 'Dazzle'... is it any good and is there anything else out there worth looking at? Could I get an older AIW (say an AIW 128) and run two video cards (primary one for gaming/every day use and the other for captures)?

Any advice or opinions would be really appreciated, and some site recommendations from the video buffs out there would also be really appreciated.

TIA

Best Buy has the all in wonder tv- tuner card which is pci for $40.00 after $10.00 rebate. It can capture mpeg2. i don't have any experince with . Good luck.

P.s. I say it at the BB b&m in MI probably online also.🙂
