hi,m

i have a 6600gt with +3200 CPu and 1 GB ram.
If i wan't to upgrade, what is the best: to buy 1 omer 6600GT and make an SLi setup, (i can buy it ca. 150 $, or sell my crad and buy another(maybe a 7 series nvidia)?

thanks,

LOL, I would do it if I had PCI-e... but instead I only have AGP so I'm selling my 6600GT and getting a x850xt!

sli as a upgrade path is a really really bad choice. it adds more heat, increases powr consumption, decreases reliability(of fans mainly, 1 fan will always have a higher chance of working for 5 years than 2 fans for 5 years), increases noise, increases space used up in the case and dose not increase performance any more than selling the card you have now and picking up a single card fr0m the next generation. Sli and Xfire is really a performance enhancement for those that have top of the line cards but still want more performance. it's a bad idea any other time since you can get comparable single card performance ofr a comparable price without the hassles listed above.
